01 / 04
Arrange a map
Choose grassland, forest, water and other tiles. Start with a small piece of land and expand the landscape as you go.
This walkthrough illustrates assembly. Action order and production costs depend on the rules of the chosen scenario.
A few things before you begin.
Share an idea ↗Is this a construction model or a board game?
Modupyra combines physical world-building with strategy play. You can freely arrange maps and buildings; resources, territory and production are directions for its strategy gameplay.
Can I explore without fixed rules?
You can start by freely combining maps, terrain and buildings. A strategy match needs a clearly defined set of rules.
Does the tile stay when I remove its centre?
Yes. The main tile remains in the map. Only the terrain centre lifts out, revealing a circular area for a building.
Why are buildings made in layers?
Layers turn construction into a physical process. A wonder is explored as six components, with each addition making progress visible on the table.
What does a totem do?
It identifies territory. The marker fits into a dedicated slot in the tile so areas can be distinguished at a glance.
Where can I find dimensions, materials and age guidance?
Use the specifications and instructions published for each individual work. This website introduces the component system and play direction; it does not assign one specification to every piece.
Can I suggest terrain or a new way to play?
Share ideas for terrain, buildings or scenarios through this website’s contact form. If you have tried an arrangement, tell us how you combined the pieces and what you would improve.
